Understand the reaction system of short-range molecular still

     The reaction system of the short-range molecular still has a homogeneous phase and a heterogeneous phase. In the heterogeneous reaction, the processed solid catalyst constitutes a packing of the distillation column, which functions as both a catalytic and a rectifying column packing. Distillation has been used for esterification, transesterification, etherification, saponification and the like and separation of certain homologues and isomers. The total vapor pressure of the mixture at any temperature is always greater than the vapor pressure of either component since it includes the vapor pressure of the other components of the mixture.
  Therefore, at the same external pressure, the boiling point of the mixture of immiscible substances is lower than the boiling temperature of the lower boiling component. Distillation and fractionation differ mainly in that the distillation is carried out only once for vaporization and condensation. The separated material is generally pure, and is continuously vaporized and condensed multiple times. The separated material is still a mixture, but the boiling point range is different.
  The short-range molecular still utilizes a combination of different boiling points of the components in the mixed liquid or liquid solid system to evaporate the low-boiling components and then condense to separate the entire component, which is a combination of two unit operations of evaporation and condensation. Compared with other separation means, such as extraction, absorption, etc., it has the advantage that it does not require the use of solvents other than the system components, so that new impurities are not introduced.
  When the parameters are within the correct operating range, the evaporation bottle is placed in the heating pot, the evaporation bottle begins to rotate, and the vacuum pump begins to pump. If the distillation is stopped, the motor is removed from the heating pot, the evaporation bottle stops rotating, the system automatically opens the venting valve, and the heating pot is automatically closed.
