Precautions for use of thin film evaporator

Date:2018/9/10Read:1420

The thin film evaporator is gradually applied to the pulverized coal mill because of its simple structure, wide applicability, stable discharge concentration and low cost. However, due to the flammability and explosiveness of the pulverized coal, the thin film evaporator is manufactured. It has different characteristics from general evaporators in terms of use and management.
Note on the use of thin film evaporator:
1. Control oxygen content
Oxygen is one of the three elements of combustion. Tests have shown that when the oxygen content of the gas is less than 12, combustion can be avoided. In the coal mill system, it is often necessary to ventilate and dry the material by hot gas. The pulverized coal mill often uses hot air from the kiln head cooler or the kiln exhaust gas as a heat source. If the hot air of the cooler is used, the oxygen content in the gas is basically The same as air, 21, which will increase the possibility of pulverized coal smoke explosion, extremely unsafe, therefore, the coal mill system using the thin film evaporator is better to use the kiln exhaust gas as a heat source, the oxygen content can be reduced 12 or less.
2. Control temperature
Controlling the temperature includes the temperature of the gas and eliminating the source of ignition. The control of the temperature of the gas is ensured by process layout and on-site management. The generation of fire source is mainly for the bag filter. The filter bag is mainly electrostatic, the moving parts collide with the spark and the system breaks into Mars. The thin film evaporator uses the newly developed anti-static filter bag to suppress the static generation of the filter bag. The moving parts are made of aluminum. The product prevents collision sparks.
3. Conditions of combustion and explosion and their control
We know that under normal circumstances, the combustion conditions of pulverized coal flue gas are combustion, oxygen and temperature (fire source), so it must be controlled to ensure that the dust-containing gas does not burn and explode. The combustion products of dust-containing gas are flammable gas, and the other is solid combustion. The flammable gas is mainly carbon monoxide. When the content of the gas reaches a certain concentration, it may explode. Carbon monoxide mainly comes from the heat source of the ventilation system. Therefore, it must be strengthened. The management of the ventilation system ensures that the carbon monoxide content is within safe limits.
